ladies' cabin label.jpg

Ladies’ Cabin

 Field Flowers, Chopped Logs,

Summer Herbs, and a Flowing River

The ladies of the cabin all wear cotton

dresses and collect wild flowers in pale purple

mason jars. They braid each other’s hair as

they sit on chunky logs covered with ladybugs

and soft moss. Their secret forest hideaway

made from dovetailed cedar, is loved for the

fresh air, surrounding evergreens, honeysuckle,

wild bluebells, and tall grass. The nearby lemon

grove provides them with an endless supply

of food, drink, and medicine. Here in this

cabin, they have everything they need.

circus girl's trailer.jpg

Circus  Girl’s Tirl’s railer

 Bulgarian Roses, Purple Lilac,

Musky Velvet, and Clove Cigarettes

Her trailer is akin to a feminine curiosity

cabinet. Lusty, yet sweet. Luring, yet aloof.

French perfume permeates velvet and tulle.

Tobacco and clove linger from late night

kreteks. A touch of freshness is supplied by a

bouquet of roses, lilac, ylang, and hyacinth.

A love note is dropped on the floor by yet

another admirer. After a long night in the

tent, she shares a glass of sherry with her

best girl. Together they smile and dream

about where they will venture to next.

bird's nest label.jpg

Bird’s Nest

Lavender, Clary Sage, Petitgrain,

Frankincense, Patchouli, and Cedarwood

Carefully made of twigs, leaves, and

foraged bits of nature, the bird’s nest is

perhaps the coziest of all homes. Soft and

crunchy, unique and spontaneous, earthy

and fortified, the process evolves. Safely

integrated into nature’s height of towering

trees, the birds look down upon us. They

lay their eggs, feed their babies, learn

to fly, and on occasion tease the cats.

 Lavandin Grosso, Green Herbs,

Tonka, Rosemary, and Ginger

Lounging by the fire,

you can hear her purr.

Sweet kitty.

Sweet Kitty.

bee's hive label.jpg

Bee's  Hive

Clover Honey, Wild Daisies,

Green Moss, and Damp Earth

Hexagonal walls made of mud and straw

house the busy colony of the honey bees.

Day in and day out, the making of honey

is performed with bustling precision. The

workers forage for pollen and nectar, the

queen reproduces in her chamber, and on

a good day a forager returns to perform

his honey bee dance. Life is short, but

nothing is sweeter than the honey they

produce and the flowers they pollinate.

tall redwoods, wet bark, exotic fern, and

tiny forest floor florals, guide him along

The process of finding, picking, walking,

and breathing enlightens his heart

and energizes his soul.

poet's garret label.jpg

Poet’s  Garret

 Bergamot, Clary Sage, Lavender,

Violet, Vetiver, and Amber

As raindrops perform a soothing rhythm

atop the roof, and crackling, burning wood

bring nuance and surprise, the poet settles

into her grandfather’s leather chair and begins

to write. Urban mist mingles with an ensemble

of violets, lavender, and petit grain perched

upon the round wooden table. History gently

seeps out from the flocked wallpaper, thick

upholstery, and collected paintings. An

exuberant mix of amber and clary sage rises

from the floor to fill the spaces in-between.

cowboy's camp label.jpg

Cowboy’s  Camp

 Midnight Campfire, Dirty Denim,

Tobacco, Horsehair, and Sappy Pine

The Cowboy is the embodiment of

the Wild West. He lives for starry nights,

story-telling rituals, and bustling camp fires.

His best friend is his horse, and nothing fits

him better than a pair of 501 Levi’s jeans. His

base camp is an olfactory harmony of sweet

hay, night blooming jasmine, tobacco leaves,

and weathered leather. When he packs up to

leave, the pine trees in the distance rekindle

his wanderlust. He jumps back in the

saddle and heads due west.

bear's cave label.jpg

Bear’s  Cave

 Tangerine, Vetiver, Amber,

Frankincense, and Balsam

Some 24,000 years ago,

deep in the forest edged terrain,

a bear discovered his limestone cave.

He made his bed in an amber gallery

dripping with stalactites rich in minerals,

lava, and peat. The long, cold winters were

always met with a peaceful, languid sleep.

Each spring would commence the dawn

with sweet tangerine blossoms and

the first warm rays of light.

the sun bathed haven of her very own bounty.

fox's grove label.jpg

Fox’s  Grove

 Pink Rose, Lemon Grass,

Camphor, and Earthy Patchouli

Once upon a time, a fox lived in a grove.

His red coat, thick and soft, gave him the

appearance of youth, no matter how many

years had passed. He ate the freshest of

fruits, exercised daily on a carpet of wild

flowers, and napped under lemon blossoms

that infused sweetness into his dreams. It

is said that he brought luck to the nearby

village, and longevity was their fortune.

rabbit's hole label.jpg

Rabbit’s  Hole

Clary Sage, Ylang,

Cannabis, Basil, and Fresh Soil

Little grassy hole in the ground,

where on earth do you lead?

To a safe haven hidden from predators,

to an earthy, cozy place to sleep, or to

meandering paths of existential realities?

Choosing the path of individual freedom,

the rabbit transcends conformity.

For existence precedes essence.

And the hole is very deep.

fawn's meadow label.jpg

Fawn’s  CMeadow

Grapefruit, Lavender,

Geranium, and Fir Needle

The late afternoon is the time to

graze. Young leaves, fresh grasses, and

soft twigs abound. Trailing its mother, a

spotted fawn steps gently into the meadow.

Blending with the autumn tones, she takes

a bite from the nearest hanging branch.

Chirping birds, dashing squirrels, and

jumping grasshoppers share the scene.

Walking and eating in the plein

air has never been this good.

Sacred Chants, and Arabian Myrrh

The Monks live on a quiet hillside sanctuary

where they are dedicated to prayer, song,

outside the cloister walls, these men are a

mystery. But that suits them well. Bergamot

and sage cover the fields just beyond the

only window that gives light to the library.

Incense made of lavender, geranium, and

clove fill the room. Heavy cedar and balsam

shelves house a collection of ancient books,

providing the perfect ambiance

with a myriad of materials, all selected for their

intrinsic beauty. Nothing is taken for granted.

Her space is a floriental experience, Roses and

pink jasmine clustered in a delft blue dutch

vase sit next to a bowl of dark chocolate nibs,

a 2 o’clock necessity. Her long work table

exudes scents of precious woods while thick

cotton papers throw a dry musk into the air.

spider's web label.jpg

Spider’s  Web

Black Currant, Bitter Orange,

Oak Moss, and Amyris

For over 100 million years the spider

has woven it’s silky, protective web that

glistens when touched by the sun and

water. So pretty and light, sticky and

seductive, we cannot resist its pull. The

spider waits patiently at the center, where

the lines converge and the hypnosis begins.

Have mercy on us spider, for we have fallen

under your spell by no fault of our own.
